Premier's Rice Root Brush
The ONLY brush you will need in your tack box. We strongly recommend the use of the Rice Root Brush with Premier Rose' Conditioner. The brush takes the conditioning effects to the skin for quicker results.
This natural bristle brush, from the roots of actual rice bushes, works like no other. The bristles are able to go through the hair and work directly on the skin. No more will you have that hand print of dust that appears when you pat your horses coat. This brush can go from the wash rack to the finishing phase. Used at race tracks and Grand Prix events, the history of the Rice Root Brush has been long associated with the most knowledgeable horsemen and women.
Just like a loofah sponge for human use, the bristle tips of the Rice Root Brush removes dead skin cell accumulation that clogs the pores. The massage effect stimulates blood coming to the skin level for a healthier environment.
When you get the brush for the first time, it is important to remember several things.
1. Reintroduce moisture to the bristles by leaving it in a bucket of water overnight. To maintain your brush for use, introduce moisture as needed to reduce breakage. Depending on the humidity level in your area, no more than once a month. Check for dryness by bending one bristle back. If it breaks easily, it is time for a drenching. Store with bristles down. Under normal use, the brush should last you for years.
2. The first time you use the Rice Root brush on your horse, the sensation may cause your horse to gently react to the new sensation. Don't worry, just like having a great back rub, they will relax and actually like to see you coming.
3. Put your name on it. We have heard over and over these things learn to walk. The people that know what they are, sometimes see one that looks lost and want to give it a new home. So identify yours and reduce the chance of it getting legs.
