What does a “Sleazy” stretch product do for my horse?

The products we produce are designed to aid the grooming of the horses by providing a cover that smoothes the hair and trains the horses mane to lay flat and fall to one side.

 

Additional benefits include protection of the hair coat from abrasion of heavier coverings, and keeping heavier coverings cleaner by acting as a “liner”.

How do I choose the correct size for my horse?

Our sizing is based on the horses actual weight. An inexpensive weight tape purchased at your local tack store, will provide you with the information you need to purchase the proper size garment.

Are the Sleazy Sleepwear for Horses products guaranteed?

Yes. The garments are guaranteed against defects of materials or workmanship for 3 months from the date of purchase.

What is my Sleazy Sleepwear for Horses garment made of?

We have three main fabrics that we use for our stretch garments.

• Nylon Lycra ~ A woven fabric made from durable nylon fibers in combination with spandex fibers for superior stretch.

• Stretch Fleece ~ A polyester and spandex fabric with a fuzzy interior and a smooth exterior.

• Polyester ~ A tough knitted athletic jersey fabric that has stretch due to the character of the knit fabrics.

How do I care for my “Sleazy” stretch product?

All of the fabrics we use may be machine washed on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and hung to dry. Care should be taken to secure Velcro straps as they may snag the garment during washing.

 

Some grooming products (especially oil based), used on the horses hair or skin, may contain chemicals that will degrade the rubber (Lycra) in the fabrics used to produce the stretch garments. Horse owner’s who use these products in conjunction with our horse garments, do so at their own risk.
