They are fully hemmed with elastic and are sewn with high strength industrial polyester thread and soft wooly nylon next to the horse's skin. The nose band of fleece next to the horses face. Our Seamless FaceTM design eliminates any seams below the eyes for maximum safety. Our no-buckle girth is easy to fasten with wide VelcroTM on a heavy duty fully hemmed elastic girth strap. We use a special low profile VelcroTM fastener that is designed for maximum strength when closed but resists grabbing the fabric when open. Zipper Options on all Lycra Hoods: Full separating zipper (chin to chest).
